What is iQtonic™?

iQtonic™ (aka Think in a drink) belongs to a new category of nootropics called “functional nootropic beverages”. Functional nootropic drinks have recently become very popular as more consumers are looking for healthy alternatives to high doses of caffeine and sugary energy drinks. Some experts even predict that nootropic drinks will become the “new norm” for energy drinks in the near future. Unlike many regular energy drinks that only provide a short-term rush of energy associated with high caffeine content, iQtonic™ is a cutting-edge smart energy drink that has been designed to help you improve mental performance and gain competitive advantage. Not only iQtonic™ provides long-lasting effects to support cognitive functions, it also offers a very convenient and tasty way of taking your essential nootropics in a liquid form.

So what makes iQtonic™ the best nootropic drink?

The secret of iQtonic™ effectiveness is in its unique formula. iQtonic™ has been developed by carefully researching and mixing a number of well-known nootropics and vitamins. All ingredients work synergistically thereby resulting in improved brain health and function. Users report increased productivity, enhanced cognitive functions, improved mood, motivation and concentration, reduced fatigue and stress.

Science behind iQtonic™ nootropic drink:

The nootropic ingredients and vitamins used in iQtonic™ smart energy drink are: CDP Choline (Citicoline), L-Theanine, Guarana, Huperzine A, DMAE (dimethylaminoethanol), Taurine, Theacrine and Vitamin B Complex (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 & B12) and NALT (N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine). This section explains the science behind each of these ingredients and synergistic effects that are reported after drinking iQtonic™.

CDP Choline is a great source of choline with neuroprotective effects and neuroregenerative potential.1

L-Theanine is a naturally occurring non-dietary amino acid that plays a number of important roles in the body, including having psychological and physiological anxiolytic effects (i.e., anxiety reduction) under stress.2

Guarana is a herbal extract from the Amazonian plant Paullina cupana.3 It is a stimulant that has been shown to reduce the effects of physical and psychological stress.3 Other reported benefits following guarana use are improved attention, increased alertness, enhanced memory and perception.

Huperzine A is a cholinergic nootropic that helps to maintain high levels of acetylcholine, which itself is crucial for learning and memory. It works by inhibiting an enzyme that breaks down acetylcholine.

DMAE is a precursor to acetylcholine neurotransmitter. DMAE works synergistically with CDP Choline and Huperzine A thereby maintaining high levels of acetylcholine that are important for many cognitive functions, including learning, memory, rational thinking and ability to process information.5 DMAE also helps to reach a psychophysiological state of better feeling of well-being.6

Taurine is an important amino acid in the central nervous system (CNS) directly involved in many processes, such as neuronal proliferation.7

Theacrine is a compound structurally similar to caffeine, but with longer lasting benefits and no tolerance development.8 Specific benefits of theacrine use include higher energy levels, improved mental focus, better motivation and mood.8

NALT is a more soluble form of tyrosine (a non-essential amino acid) and a precursor to many chemical messengers.9 For example, it regulates the production of dopamine and norepinephrine neurotransmitters in the brain that control mood, motivation, memory, attention, reward and expectation.10 As it is effectively absorbed into the bloodstream it has the capacity to improve executive function and works particularly well in stressful and cognitively demanding situations.9

Vitamin B Complex – a combination of B group vitamins cannot be synthesized by the human body, but are important for optimal cognitive performance, mood and general brain health.11
